In this episode we talk with Chief James Schrimpsher and Detective Marco Monteblanco of the Washington State Fraternal Order of Police. We discuss how they helped to form coalitions with police reform advocates such as Andre Taylor (Episode #30) to make positive legislative changes. As the leaders of the largest police union in the State of Washington they took the unprecedented steps of working with members of the communities that we need to better unite with the police and obtain realistic and inclusive solutions within the realm of police reform.

Marco Monteblanco started his law enforcement career in 2003 and is an active law enforcement Detective with the Kennewick Police Department in Washington State.  He's been involved with the Fraternal Order of Police his entire career and is the current State President for the Washington State Lodge.  He is active in his community and Advocates for the law enforcement profession on the state and national level.
