62: Understanding and Investing in Crypto Currency with Emmon Khan

About Emmon:
After graduating from the Fisher College of Business at the Ohio State University in 2007, Emmon started his career in asset-based lending/structured finance. Emmon conducted due diligence/risk management on multi-divisional private and public companies on behalf of various financial institutions such as GE Capital, Comerica Bank, PNC Bank, Charter One Bank, First Merit Bank, Fifth Third Bank, Square One Bank, MB Financial Bank, Capital Business Credit, Silicon Valley Bank, US Bank and various private equity firms and individual investors which provided asset-based lending financing ranging from $1MM up an excess of $500MM.
Over the past 6 years, Emmon has traveled extensively (90%) across North America and conducted due diligence work on over 220 private and public companies in industries such as manufacturing, automotive, technology, pharmaceutical, transportation/logistics, consumer goods, agriculture, marketing, credit card processing, debt collection agencies, food/beverage, furniture retail, etc. In doing this, Emmon has understood and analyzed hundreds of business models in very short periods of time and has written detailed due diligence reports to interested parties in involved in the financing.
In aggregate, Emmon has conducted risk management work for the lenders on over $1B worth of financing.
Due to Emmon's experience in examining hundreds of companies, Emmon realized that his true passion is the start-up and venture capital area being a serial entrepreneur either starting his own companies or helping other start-up companies grow by adding value to create a strong business model, create jobs and increase investor value.
